A fine quality antique grand tour bronze of atlas holding the world on his shoulders. set on a square sienna marble base this little bronze has been worked with great attention to detail. the muscle tone is excellent. the patination is entirely original and not been "improved" in any way. circa 1860. 5 inches high by 2.25 inches square ( 12.5 cms by 5.5 cms).
