A really fine silver and shibyama walking stick. the shaft of bamboo is well carved with landscape scenes. the silver haft is decorated in a spiral with exotic animals such as elephants, lions and other exotic animals. the knop of the stick is a fine piece of ivory covered with beautiful insects in shell and hardstone. the shibyama top is clearly signed in the ivory and the silver also has a clear silver mark. probably chinese circa 1900.
