A good french late 18th c white marble and ormolu directoire mantle clock in gout d'egypte. fine white porcelain dial. sphynx figures to the sides of the clock. brickwork column holding an ormolu fountain. 8 day bell strike with silk suspension. 14 inches by 9 by 4. circa 1795.
