Antique Pair French Charles X Candelabra

A fine and large pair of charles x period french candelabra. fine quality casting and original gilding and patination. a bold design with the triform base and paw feet with an ormolu acanthus leaf stem, patinated bronze reeded centre section rising to the ormolu collar and cup holding the five patinated bronze scrolling arms. each arm of the candelabra terminating in an ormolu drip pan and candle holder. the ormolu central candelholder also has a flaming finial. circa 1825, french. 32 inches tall and 12 inches across the candle holders and 8 inches across the base ( 80 cms by 30 cms by 20 cms).
