A fine quality scuptured metal group with gilt and bronze finish, depicting the emperor napoleon sitting at his campaign desk in pensive mood after a picture by denis auguste marie raffet (1804 1860).
upon his desk is an open map, books and a lamp which contains a low wattage bulb, giving off a orange /red glow.
all on a mottled green marble oblong base with an applied plaque engraved,
