A fine italian grand tour two horse racing chariot driven at full pelt by the charioteer. the two horses with full rig and yokes over their backs. between them a profusely decorated shaft terminating in a ram's head. the two wheeled chariot highly decorated in high relief both front and back with even the spokes of the wheels decorated. the charioteer dressed in a short smock with a leather helmet. terrific detail and very well executed and in lovely condition. italian circa 1880. 13 inches long by 6.5 inches deep by 9 inches high ( 32.5 cms by 16.5 cms by 22.5 cms).
