A heavy lead crystal pressed glass victorian tea caddy sugar bowl measuring 5 inches high by 4 inches across, 13 x 10 cms. circa 1850. the bowl is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or damage. this sugar bowl is of excellent quality with scalloped top edge and base. these bowls are commonly called mixing bowls but it is documented and been proven that they were used for sugar and never mixing the two types of tea commonly kept in the larger caddies of the period.
