| A most actractive little Austrian bronze of a young girl sitting in a chair set upon a rouge marble base. It shows the young girl sitting in a chair winding wool into balls. At her feet is a basket full of balls of wool and beside the chair is a cat. To the front of the marble base is a bronze plaque inscribed " La Deviduese par Maxim" ( The wool Winder by Maxim). From the same series is #3495 ( put number in my site search). Circa 1900. 4 inches wide by 3 inches deep by 5 inches high ( 10 cms by 7.5 cms by 12.5 cms). |
